Bay Ridge’s Master Plumber — 40+ Years on the Job

If there's a PhD in plumbing, Bob Sessa would have one for sure. He actually IS a Master Plumber and we were so impressed with his 'think-first act later' approach. He suggested a few diagnostic actions and when we were still getting the 'drip' he came and pinpointed the issue. He cut a 6" square hole in EXACTLY the right spot and there it was. An ancient pipe had breached. Anyone else would have torn open the whole wall. My husband and I were SO pleased with Robert Sessa's work. And, when he finished his complicated repair, he left the bathroom immaculate. I was so impressed and thankful. He's the real deal. We are thrilled that we have a trusted, go-to plumber now.

Bob has been over four or five times now for different jobs including snaking a drain, fixing a wobbly toilet and replacing a drain in our sink. Most recently, he fixed our toilet in the basement that was leaking from under the bowl — this included resetting the cement under the bowl and inserting a new flange and wax ring. Each time he has been friendly, professional and courteous, and takes the time out to explain what he is doing. His pricing is reasonable. He is meticulous and does a great job.

On May 17, 2021 Mr. Sessa came to my home to fix a leak in my bathtub. The fixture itself was more than 30 years old so I asked him to install new set up, which he did in a very efficient professional manner. The man has been in business for many many years and it shows. While he was there I asked if he could also install a new shower head, which he did. I had checked around before I called him, so I know he charged me a fair price. He also said to call him if any problem arose, which it has not.
